We chose these examples because they provide ample information about the definitions of suspense and foreshadowing. The definition of suspense is awaiting a decision or outcome, which is exactly what my examples showed. One example of suspense is when the guests figured out the host and hostess were there. It created suspense because it made you wonder where they could be. The definition of foreshadowing is to show or indicate beforehand which is also what my examples showed. One example of that is when Vera found the "Ten Little Indian" poem on the wall in the bedroom she is staying in. It showed the entire poem in the book because I think that is what is going to happen to the guests. That is why I chose these examples of suspense and foreshadowing because they really explain the definitions.
